Rules and Regulations

The purpose of the Make Respect Cool Again contest is to nurture a culture of empathy and respect across social media.

The contest is open to anyone of any age, including adults, teens, and/or kids with parental permission. Any of these parties who are interested in promoting unity and interconnectedness through Spiritual Playdate Respect Code Call & Repeat may participate.

• The social media account that posts the video must belong to someone over 18 years of age.
• Record a video of up to 60 seconds with your fellow human(s), including the following:
  • Announce who you are (any way you would like to identify yourselves)
  • Recite the Respect Code to each other (in any language you choose)
  • Challenge another group (can be anyone) to take the Respect Challenge next!
• Post to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and/or YouTube and Tag:
  • On Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn: @spiritualplaydate
  • On TikTok: @spirituallifeskills
  • On YouTube: @spiritualplaydate-lifeskil4294
  • On X: @SpiritualPD
• Use #RespectChallenge, #RespectCode, and #MakeRespectCoolAgain
• We will re-share eligible videos through our media channels, and one winner will receive the $2,500 grand prize and the Global Respect Award!

Be sure to tag Spiritual Playdate's handles listed above. Being tagged by you is how we are notified that you have entered the contest!

Entries will be judged based on authenticity, creativity, and the spirit of unity conveyed in the video.

• Participants may post as many MCRA videos as they like.
• The 2026 contest opens on May 15, 2026, and closes on March 31, 2027.
• All entries must be posted and properly tagged during this period to be eligible.

• One grand prize winner will be chosen early April 2026 from all eligible entries and announced on Spiritual Playdate Social media. The winner will receive the annual Global Respect Award and receive a monetary prize and publicity through Spiritual Playdate's media channels.
• In addition, quarterly winners will receive a free Affiliate Membership to Spiritual Playdate's full library of activities for kids. Affiliate Memberships include licenses for three grown-ups to access Spiritual Playdate's library of Social-Emotional-Spiritual-Learning materials for kids! Affiliate Members will also be eligible for publicity through Spirituality Playdate's media channels.

• Participating in this contest grants Spiritual Playdate the right to share and repost their submitted video content on Spiritual Playdate's social media channels and website for promotional purposes.
• Participant consent, and parental permissions for kids participating are the sole responsibility of the poster. Spiritual Playdate takes no responsibility for any liability arising from participants' choices about how to record and post their videos.
