Multicultural Collection, Oak Park Public Library
Naomi is the Multicultural Learning Librarian at Oak Park Public Library, where she curates the Multicultural Collection, a circulating collection of artifacts and print resources from around the world, and provides outreach programs for schools and community partners. Her goals with the Collection are to support exploration, identity development, and cross-cultural empathy. Naomi has worked as an educator, curriculum designer, teacher-trainer, and librarian. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History at University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University, and a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan.
