Ellen Price was 25 years old and an Episcopalian when she found and joined the Bahá’í Faith in 1986. For the last twenty years, she has worked for various Bahá’í administrative institutions: The Bahá’í International Community United Nations Office, in NY; the Office of External Affairs for the Bahá’ís of the United States, in Washington, D.C.; and currently in the Office of Communications for the U.S. Bahá’í national headquarters in Evanston, Illinois.
Ellen and her husband, Ed, have a daughter who graduated high school in June 2016. Ellen is the Bahá’í Children’s Class Coordinator for the Wilmette area of northern Illinois. She loves working with children and currently teaches classes focusing on the Bahá’í principles of the oneness of humanity and the oneness of religion for children ages 7-11 at the Bahá’í Temple in Wilmette.
